I have been employed at my current workplace for about 11 months. Today I realised that one of the ladies I work with, is the daughter of an old boss. He was the Director of the organisation I worked for at the time. It was a very weird moment. When she told me who her father was, it reminded me of what my life was like back then. I was pregnant with my third child and I was a very different person. I have changed over the years, and I am now a much stronger and happier person. It is funny how meeting people can make you appreciate just how far you have come in life.

When I go through a difficult time, I find that help does not necessarily come from the people you expected. Complete strangers can sometimes offer you a helping hand. They are a part of your life for that one moment and then they are gone just as quickly. Be open to others helping you. Life does not have to be too difficult and a helping hand can make such a difference.
Six years ago I was not feeling well and after a visit to a doctor I went on an elimination diet. The diet requires you to stop eating a number of foods for one month to see if you started to feel better. A few days into my new eating regime, I started to feel 100% better. It was very difficult initially and I recall feeling very grumpy as I could not eat what the rest of my family was eating. However as the days flew by , I started to get used to my new diet. After the month I re-introduced various foods and if I had a reaction, I knew that I could no longer eat it. I eventually discovered that I could not eat wheat, dairy, tomatoes and oranges. Years later I feel so much better. So if you are feeling tired, sluggish, or generally unwell, have a look at what food you are eating. It is amazing how everyday foods which people take for granted, may be the cause of how you are feeling. Make sure you visit your doctor and get their advice before going on any diets.
