In the past, I used to apply for jobs and I would get really disappointed when I did not get the role. Then I would eventually secure a job that was better than the positions I missed out on. This has also happened with real estate. In life, we miss out on many things. Try not to get disheartened and instead believe that something better is coming your way. It has happened to me and it can happen to you too.

I met a gentleman the other day named Tom who told me all about how his ex-wife had cheated on him. He spoke at length about it and it seemed as though he had only just broken up with his wife. When I questioned him about how long ago they had broken up, he told me it was seven years ago. He was in another relationship yet he was still focused on how badly his ex-wife had treated him. Everyone is different and the time to heal will vary. However, unless you talk about it to a counsellor and work on moving on, you are going to carry the pain for the rest of your life. Tom is not alone, there are many people who have suffered terrible experiences. However there comes a point where you have to let go and start to enjoy your life. The people who care about you will be glad to see that you are finally leading a happier life.

People who have a mental block about finances and believe they are bad at managing finances, like to let other manage their money. They may not be 100% happy with the person but they would still rather allow someone else to do it. Sometimes this does not work out too well as that person is not too good at it either. You really are the best person to look after your finances. Just believe in yourself.

In life some of the people you meet will be nasty and others will be kind and supportive. Instead of being drawn into the issues of people who are basically unhappy, focus your energy on the people who treat you with respect. You have control over how people treat you.
