Recently a friend of mine named Jasmine was upset because she found out that her sister was talking badly about her to others. Within the same week, I then met another friend for dinner and she started complaining about her son. After a while I told her, that she needed to voice her concerns with her son directly.
As I listened to the stories of these women, I wondered how the ones who were complaining would feel if they knew others were talking about them. Would they feel hurt and betrayed? Then why do it to people they supposedly love?
I have observed whole families base their discussions on gossiping about others instead of talking about current events or their interests. Then as a family member left the room, they would talk about that person. This is sad but true.
Whatever we do or say, we attract back to us. Speak kind words or do not say anything at all.
Remember those who constantly speak badly about others, are inherently unhappy and there is nothing you can do or say to change it. Focus on the positives in your life and move forward.
